Galleria Spada

Galleria Spada
  • Giorni Feriali

The Gallery is housed in the Palazzo Spada, built in 1548-50 and restored by Francesco Borromini about a century later. With its surprising perspective effects, the Gallery is well kept and has a delightful atmosphere.

Cardinal Spada’s collection of paintings is arranged in four rooms which preserve their XVII century decoration and furnishings, and the collection is particularly important for its XVII and XVIII century paintings, and II and III century Roman sculpture.
